Description

A hub broadcast informs connected interfaces about changes that have occurred/are occurring on your network. For example, the phone app you use to control your smart-home will receive these broadcasts from the hub. Broadcasts can inform the app about changes to the hub itself, or to any of your connected devices. You will also see connected interfaces referred to as simply ‘UI’ in this document.
