Group Operations

Group Operations is a set of mechanisms allowing group operations over the device and items, without listing them by identifiers. It allows one to filter specific events out of the controller events stream and decide whether the event satisfies the condition block without binding it to a specific device or item.

For example:

• if the switch item of any device with the category siren becomes true;
• if the security_threat item of a door/window sensor becomes true.

Condition blocks that support Group Operations filtering: every block with the data source type device_group, item_group available in the output of hub.scenes.block.data.list command, comparisonMethods[methodName]/dataSource option.
